Our first experiment will be testing out $1500. We will be tracking HNT/USDT and HNT/BTC and have sell orders between 25 to 31 and BTC equivalents based on current indicators. When there is a balance of USDT and BTC, we can begin trading there.

This will be a very exciting experiment in trying to beat out the efficiency of "Buying & HODL'ing." Especially when you see the Helium Explorer. Now I'm trying to figure out how to connect the grid. https://explorer.helium.com/ While Crypto is primarily valued in US Dollar, the goal is to help people learn about crypto market dynamics, how to protect their assets from volatility, and eventually generate more crypto. In the past, we would normally take $1,500 and yolo into Doge or GPU mining rigs. While both strategies have technically been 100%+; we now have almost unlimited amounts of data to help make smarter decisions for traders, but also for the miners and the hard working people who are investing their time, energy, and cash to develop these awesome technologies. I won't go into the exact specifics of Correlation Coefficients quite yet, but 9 times out of 10, every asset class is correlated to almost anything else you can plug in. Sometimes, you can use a "CC" on the same "ticker" to produce very interesting results. Doge is a fun one for that. Throughout the day we will provide updates as the data aggregates and the strategy is adjusted. Feel free to ask any questions, critique the thought process, and as always... have fun!!

So far, we are up $73. Looking to take a little profit between $21.20 and $21.40. I forgot to set alerts on the HNT/USDT Perpetual Futures pair on Binance. Fixed that. Perpetual Futures are very risky, and I don't recommend them for anyone getting into crypto or trading. However, they provide a unique insight into different money flows and will usually trigger alerts that spot pairs wouldn't because of their increased volume.

Keep an eye on your vwaps at 7pm Central time or in less than1 hour. This is when futures contracts get settled and/or heavily active bots will reset strategies. I haven't gone digging too deep into the actual sources and mechanisms of perpetual futures, but it is very similar to the same moves at 5pm central time on the CBOE futures.

Based on the earlier support that HNT had at the vwap, I had adjusted my limit orders to slightly over the "meme-level" $21.420. The futures peaked at 21.419 before the rest down to a lower support level that I will detail in the glossary and triggers. The 3-min model was still maintaining a long position so I was expecting a heavy hitting condition.... the rebound off the support level has hit the first limit sell order.

I had a limit order for just 1 HNT at roughly 21.611, and the current balance is at $1,619

I will use the USDT funds to set 1-2 tiered limit orders on BTC after some analysis and possible triggers in the middle of the night. Today had some good data that I would typically use to to identify opportunities or signals that indicate rotations between alts and the "Legacy" Cryptos. The correlating trend the dollar is strong which means little movements can have greater swings.

I'm seeing some conflicting triggers that could result in a "stop-loss" and/or "stop limit" raid. I'll detail these in the glossary, I will set some BTC/USDT Limit buy orders at 46k and 45k in case an algo goes berserk or attempts to reset. ~$10 each unless I see and opportunity to buy back 1+ HNT at a lower price than the total cost of commissions. This is when I would suggest setting an over-night price level alert in case something funky happens.

The minimum order amount is .0005 btc per order for BTC/USDT spot pair so I might do some research into some other available spot pairs and see if there are some good set-ups. The Legacy coins sucked a lot of momentum out of alts so there should be 1 or 2 decent opportunities. Any suggestions from your favorite projects? Preferably real blockchain projects and not 50 breeds of doge.

In order for a strategy to be truly successful, it has to be emotionless. ICX has been going strong but it looks like it's at a cross roads and confirming some other trends that indicate a retest of lower support levels as the US Dollar Index Keeps pumping up to a possible meme-level 94.20. The correlations are not normal so I would look for wild fluxuactions as some people disable losing bots or get liquidated on perpetual futures. Limit orders set on ICX. I can utilize the smaller token price and spreads to simulate some theories using #of contracts vs percentage of equity per order. Then backtest

Another update on the manual trading experiment. We are currently at 75+ HNT. I whole bunch of work to barely break even, but there was definitely a money vacuum creating by Bitcoin over the past few days. Our smaller exchange change didn't have the exit to liquidity to market sell (synthetic short) back into BTC without adding to the cascading price of Helium. So we HODL. Sometimes this happens to POW coins when external forces disrupt market dynamics, and the miners trade/dump to get exposure to Bitcoin's %gains.

Now we have Data points that correlate with price action, but they didn't have an exit strategy, so now we can adjust the code as necessary to buffer unfavorable conditions or Identify new short triggers.

Good Morning Everyone!
Re-balancing into Bitcoin was a good move! Alt coin pairs are struggling to keep up, so we might be staying with Bitcoin for a while, and then Dollar Cost average back into some more HNT. Bitcoin is dominating the alerts and news, so it's not wise to have any exposure.

We have been experimenting with minimum Bitcoin orders on our algos in order to simulate the most realistic possibilities. The take profit alerts were largely ignored.

Back again with another update!
We have since moved $500 of Bitcoin over to Coinbase to start API testing with.

That left us with about $1,100 in capital.
We cheated though, and rode the metaverse wave for ~$640 in new gains in the past few days.
Also diversifying a little bit with Polygon and Monero.
Spell is a new multi-chain staking and lending platform that has some Wii-level-hacking magic that was hard for me to follow. I got it at $0.22-0.25 so I'll set some stops and ride it til it dies!

CoinEx has updated their website and UI with a bunch of new features including a very nice PNL model.
As part of a diversified portfolio strategy, we are able to capitalize on different set-ups instead of being bound to the price action of HNT/BTC on a downward trend as Bitcoin goes to war against the terrible "tokenomics" of the US Dollar

It's probably got a little further to go down relative to bitcoin. The unofficial-arbitrage occurs when you can find other opportunities that outperform Bitcoin.

Good Morning Catena Fam!
If you have been watching The price of Helium, then you already know we got crushed by the HODLer's.
Still not doing too bad. The past few days were choppy. Definitely over-traded, but it was part of testing candle reaction to various market and limit orders.
Our main trading account is ~$1,800 and we have another ~$560 worth of Bitcoin on Coinbase. Still making some final adjustments before we test a bot.

We are weighting a little heavier towards Monero for a while to help dethrone some of these other coins that are obsolete. Pave the way for HNT and some other legit blockchains that ordinary people can mine.

The entire internet and cell service went out in my area today, and that really opened my eyes to the need for a secondary internet network. So many credit card processors weren't working. ATM's weren't working. Gas pumps weren't working. ETC and Bitcoin Cash aren't gonna fix that.

peter I have some awesome blueprints for solar set-ups. I even priced outs some Amazon Packages back in the day. It wasn't too bad! I'm really curious to see if there is a way to re-purpose the wi-fi antennas on all of these new gaming motherboards. Every real gamer is hard-wired anyways. Possibly some kind of modified bios for the wi-fi dongle thing.

I bet the Ethlargement Pill team might have someone who could help...

We finally have some Bots running on CoinbasePro. We took the $500+ of Bitcoin that was sitting there and split it up into 2 micro-experiments.

I nick-named it after Wall-E because it has to be able to withstand harsh environments while picking up scraps... and then compressing them into blocks.
