• I entered the crypto market in 2017 after winning some money in a fantasy football league around the time Bitcoin became a sensation. After doing research and reading some white papers I came across ICON's whitepaper and became fascinated instantly. I had a feeling I'd come across a gem. My belief that the world would benefit from blockchain technology has only grown stronger with time.

    • I came to join crypto in Summer 2017 made some very good money with Bitcoin cashed out with the previous ATH and put some profits in ICX and bought since then ICX. Was of course influenced by Peter back then to find ICX but hope of a good ride, so we all having fun. I was ""founding member"" of the Pub as well. 🙂

      Hey boys, a great initiative (and a definitely needed one for the ICON community)! Here are a few words about me:

      • Name: Dilyan
      • Where are you from: Varna, Bulgaria
      • Why crypto: I was trading FOREX several years ago, but have only heard and used Bitcoin for some payments at the time. In the late 2017 I got caught in the crypto hype. Took my stab at it while not fully understanding the market (bought ICON's absolute top at 12$+), lost a pretty good amount because of that. However, I loved the idea of buying fast moving assets (dynamic TA) with rapidly moving technology behind it (dynamic FA), so I did a thorough research on several coins and eventually I came back to ICON in 2019 and stuck with it ever since
      • Random fact: I am never at a standstill and I love trying new and unique things (which I usually get quite passionate about). To name a few: flair bartending, playing poker, punk/hardcore concerts, snowboarding (broke my arm and my shoulder on two separate occasions), white water rafting, scuba diving, driving ATVs etc - pretty much anything that gets my blood racing

              Matt Thanks Matt! Im experiencing quite substantial slowdown lately because of the kids, but yeah, I believe that the most important thing in life is not to slow down and get comfortable. Challenges, no matter the type, make us feel alive! ;-)

                Why Crypto: "Why Not Crypto?" Although not a "Maximalist", I do genuinely believe Bitcoin is one of the most, if not the most significant invention ever.
                Random Fact: CS Bachelors just completed last month and now itching to develop something in the crypto space as a side project. The extent of crypto development I have is simply integrating an ICON Wallet and being able to to transfer back and forth testnet ICX as a feature of an app I was working on. Also love cars. So the dream life would being able to create something in crypto focused on improving peoples health and enjoying race cars.
