Welcome everyone! For this part of the Experiment, we will begin to document historically relevant bar chart patterns and how they relate to pre-coded triggers. This should help our users identify future pitfalls, raids, and traps. Our initial goal is to have users submit "events" where they have identified a definitive pattern or ask about a set-up that they missed. It should be possible to code the best conditions for entering and exiting a position. Then we can throw it into the back test engine to see how consistent it is. Some of the triggers may already exist, but there may have been an underlying condition that buffered it from playing out.

I will start with this one first since I don't really want to see short triggers popping up on HNT right now. It is currently labeled #155 VXX. When triggered on volatility ETFs, it is very effective, but it crypto, it frequently results in a stop-loss raid, and push to higher prices. If any users want to help identify classic patterns within the vicinity, I would love to see some pics

We are currently working on a format for sharing chart formation dynamics. It can be difficult to understand why formations form, but we are working on solving all of them . Similar to a soduko or crossword puzzle. Here is one of the flag formations

By applying multiple metrics beyond what is traditionally available, we can then buffer out false signals and code proper reversals

Alexander unlike the stock markets, crypto markets can have different pairs on multiple exchanges. We are utilizing 4 trading pairs and 2 timeframes from each pair in order to identify clusters of correlating triggers and the trend direction.

It is looking like the take-profit code(purple)has triggered some decent buy support. The red arrows are short triggers, but we aren't actually "shorting". Just using the new data to adjust our strategy as needed.

If you were using perpetual futures to trade HNT, and you wanted to go short, then these would be some of the price levels you would want to consider for setting a stop loss based on your personal risk tolerance

This formation may play out as a "tweezer tops" on a longer time-frame.

Yesterday on the ETH-Perpetual futures, there were a series of triggers that happened so fast, it shut-off the alerts from Tradingview. I jokingly call this "Breaking the algos." But ours caught it right before being turned off

Good afternoon everyone. I hope some of you managed to buy the dip. That was a violent one, but not unpredictable at all. The fun-part is how many "algos broke." Big moves like that exposed the exact kind of issues I was worried about with some of our high frequency take-profits. Tradingview has been lagging all day too.

The average person would not have captured this move. "Buying the dip" is real, but you need an exit plan!!!

The usdt and perpetual pairs were long for a while. Now it's time to code a nother 3% short reversal that won't conflict with the rest of the code.

The ICX triggers were popping off for sure! I'll have to detail the struggles of "re-painting" in the glossary, but the idea is that the conditions required for each trigger are so ridiculous(it's very simple) that they can't shuffle unless there is a major data re-aggregation. Blockchain style notarization is key!

Flux has made some pretty big moves lately. It's one of my personal favorites as an Nvidia GPU miner.
We are running into coding limitations on tradingview at the moment, but the secondary bar coloring is really helping to identify triggers that we have missed, were buffed out, or won't appear because of equity deployment strategies.
