Bitcoin (-5.2% to ~$55K), Binance Coin (-6.4%), and dogecoin (-23%) drop, pulling down Square (NYSE:SQ) ( -7.3%) and PayPal (NASDAQ😛YPL) (-3.8%), which saw their Q1 earnings jump past analyst estimates, helped partly by their cryptocurrency apps.
Ethereum, which had been rising, also turns down, losing 1.5% to $3.85K.
The usual crypto-related names are all down as well: Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (OTC:GBTC) fell 5.7%, Riot Blockchain (NASDAQ:RIOT) slid 10%, Osprey Bitcoin Trust (OTCPK😮BTC) dropped 6.1%, MicroStrategy (NASDAQ:MSTR) declined 8.2%, SOS Ltd. (NYSE:SOS) lost 8.4%, and Overstock.com (NASDAQ😮STK) dipped 6.8%.
