Some of the most elaborate castles in the world are found in Africa. The continent is the home of hundreds of them. Historians claim these castles were inspired by European castles, but who was responsible for the construction of them? If it was infact European nations that built them why did they build more in Africa than they did on their own lands? Is it too much to imagine that the inventors of pyramids and other elaborate stone structures were also capable of building the hundreds of castles that line the African coast? Google is certainly in favor of the "official" version of history.
